"I was really looking forward to trying this plug. Everywhere I read reviews all of the reviews were very positive. I have had 4 other plugs which are fairly standard small and medium plugs. One I like, the other three are adequate so I can compare my experience with 'Buddy' with those.
The first thing I noticed about 'Buddy' is how small it is: I knew it would be a bit smaller than a medium plug from the dimensions but it really needs to be classified as a small plug. Novices should have absolutely no trouble trying this one. Secondly, I was impressed by the quality of the silicone. It is very soft and seamless. The flared base is well designed to be comfortable. It *should* be very comfortable for long term wear.
It does suffer from one major flaw. Its neck is not sufficently tapered to allow anal retention. Try as I might it would not stay in, and now that I have examined it before me, I must say I am not surprised. Because of its shape any muscle contraction will force it out....
So unless you plan to keep this plug in with a harness I don't recommend it to anyone. It is well built, but though it has many positive design features, it is missing the most important one. Design of the base makes it soft."

My experience with Buddy was disappointing.

"My experience with Buddy was disappointing due to the fact that it doesn’t stay inside. Even small muscle contractions squeeze it out. Unless one holds it in place it is certain to be completely out when one orgasms. As this is my first plug I can’t really compare it to any others. All I can say is I hope there are better ones out there."

Fun, but too pointy for me.

I have one of these that was a gift from a friend. I''ve only used it a couple of times, but I found the little pointy part hurt a little. However, I have used it on male partners (don''t forget to sterilize it!) who have really enjoyed the pressure it put on the prostate! (I guess I miss out on that particular pleasure). So in my case, I would recommend it for anyone with a prostate!

I ordered this plug b/c it was small and looked like it would be reasonably comfortable for beginning anal play. I find (like other reviewers) that it doesn''t stay inside and often slides out during play. Since it was inexpensive, I''m not sorry I got it, but it really isn''t the perfect little plug I was looking for.
