The vibrations are much stronger than those of the original Jack Rabbit, and I really like the fact that the Impulse is cordless - there's no risk of accidentally pulling on the wires and damaging them. The vibrating ears are fairly quiet, and the beads are somewhat louder. Turning on music or a fan will help to cover the noise, though.
