Sex Toy Cleaning
The best way to clean and disinfect your sex toys. Different materials require different cleansing methods.
Jelly or Latex
Clean jelly toys with antibacterial soap and warm water, or adult toy cleaner. Jelly toys are very porous. While you can clean them, you can't ever fully disinfect them. After you wash the toy, let it air dry and store it in a cool, dry place.
Silicone
Clean silicone toys with antibacterial soap and warm water, or adult toy cleaner. Silicone toys are high-quality and easy to clean. After you wash the toy, let it air dry and store it in a cool, dry place.
Hard Plastic
Clean hard plastic toys with antibacterial soap and warm water, rubbing alcohol or adult toy cleaner. Hard plastic toys aren't very porous and are easy to clean. After you wash the toy, let it air dry and store it in a cool, dry place.
Metals
Clean your metal (gold, aluminum or titanium) toy with antibacterial soap and warm water, rubbing alcohol or adult toy cleaner. You can also boil your metal dildos (but not your vibrators) to disinfect them. Metal toys can be towel dried and shined before you store them in a cool, dry place.
Cyberskin
Cyberskin, Ultraskin, Pleasureskin and other synthetic skins can be cleaned with antibacterial soap and warm water, or adult toy cleaner. After you clean these toys, allow to air dry. Then sprinkle with talcum powder to ensure the skin doesn't pill or tear. Store in a cool, dry place, preferably wrapped in a soft material.
To ensure your toy stays clean, don't share it with partners unless you swathe it in a fresh condom each time it's used.
