How Men Use Vibrators...a study
 

When we think of vibrators we usually think of women.   Men use vibrators differently from women, but they do use them.  In fact 45% of men use vibrators according to a study released today in the Journal of Sexual Medicine Early View.   Researchers Michael Reece and Debra Herbenik asked 1000 men in the US about their vibrator habits.  In summary:
 

How did men use vibrators?

• 40% used vibrators for sexplay or foreplay with a partner
• 17% of them used vibrators for masturbation. 

Why did men use vibrators?

• 67% said for "fun"
• 40% said to help a partner reach orgasm
• 7% said to help themselves reach orgasm

The effects of using a vibrator?

• The men who used vibrators were less likely to have a sexual function problem, such as erectile dysfunction or premature ejacultion.
• The men who used vibrators were more likely to take care of their bodies, such as regular prostate exams.
